Visit Rang Yai Island (Koh Rang Yai)from Thailand

This small slice of paradise is found 5 kilometres off the east coast of Phuket, between Coconut island and the sister island Rang Noi.

The main beach (east) of this island is about 1 km lined with coconut trees. Splashing in the clear blue warm water, you can enjoy great views of the mainland. While this beach is almost busy with tour packages travelers, the island has more options off the beaten tracks further to the centre. And even some accommendations as well as a restaurant.

Rang Yai is home to a famous pearl farm. You can admire and buy the products in the local pearl shop. But there are more activities such as canoeing, riding the bicycle around the island, or golfing.
