Koh Lon is not the most spectacular destination for people traveling on a private yacht. Because it is in the middle of Chalong Bay, just a few minutes away from Chlong Pier, where most tours start.
But if you only have little time for a short trip, or just want to cruise completely relaxed through absolutely protected calm waters, you will be surprised how much exoticism this mountainous tropical island in the immediate vicinity of the mother Island Phuket has to offer. It is inhabited only by a few fishermen and rubber farmers, apart from a few guests in exclusive bungalow resorts.
Almost the entire island is surrounded by a reef, which offers great opportunities for snorkeling. You will find a few lonely bays with deserted beaches on the sea route, which look like something out of a picture book. Those wishing to explore the center of the island can find rich flora and fauna on wild nature trails.
